There's only one thing for it mully post in Body & Soul. Someone may be able to help you.

Mr Fakeplastic is wondering why he never gets a meal at night any more and why the ironing's not done and why the fridge is empty and why his wife never comes to bed........ no it's not addictive...........
Wow, it's nice to know I'm not alone! Maybe that's why all of a sudden we stop seeing certain ABers. They're trying to quit! Oh, but they'll be back, they'll be back *cue evil laughter*
Definitely ! For the first three months of using AB I barely slept a wink. It became an obsession , where I had to keep checking on questions every two mins (Just in case)  , I developed a satanic sounding voice when asked to leave the PC and I heard these familiar tiny little voices in the background calling mummy , mummy but I was so lost in cyberspace that I thought who ? My trance was only broken when my hubby intervened and thrust little baby Holly in front of my face saying   'step away from the PC. You are in danger of being lost in cyber space forever. Put the mouse down slowly and walk away'. It's not been easy but I am coping one day at a time to live with restricted amounts of Answerbank. Perhaps we should form some sort of help group lol !

Sadly no. The site bores me for the most part now being filled with endless moronic quiz questions and children either looking to get their homework done or asking poo and wee questions.

Having been a member for nigh on three years I have been through phases when I would check the site a lot but that has long passed especially in this latest version....all the whistles and bells of the new improvements can't cover up the fact that the intellectual content of the site has sadly slipped to a big degree.

More habit than addiction (is there a difference!).  There are other sites that are more addictive!
