Can anybody tell me the trade name of the foil backed loft insulation material that come in rolls. Its used on the angle of the roof, stapled to the angled joists as opposed to laying it along the horizontal joists? Thanks

If it is what I am thinking of there are several similar products - one called Framefoil and another is make by kingspan but the name eludes me, yet another is called Tri-Iso Super 9.  They are all foil and mineral wool laminates which are about half an inch thick but give the thermal insualtion equivalent of six inches of traditiona fibreglass insulation.  Talk to your local builders merchnats who may be able to suggest others.
