All roses, in my experience, prefer full sun... the more the better.  The noisettes, of which Madame Alfred Carriere is one certainly need a minimum of 5 hours of full sun to its best.  Some shade could be tolerated, but the rose would not come to its full potential... Best of luck, she's a beauty...
