Now I have retired I have decided to learn how to swim. Being a blind as a bat means I have to keep my glasses on but this is hampering my progress as I have to keep my head out of the water.
I wondered if anyone has / has tried prescription goggles - would you recommend them?

They have got to be better than wearing your expensive glasses, possibly damaging the coatings.

And good for peeling onions too. :)
My husband has got some and since he can't see a thing without his glasses, he always wears prescription goggles and feel much more confident wearing them when swimming.

Thanks, Wendy. Do you know where he got them from. I can only find them on the internet but I don't think that would be very satisfactory - getting the right size, etc.
Try www.lens-wear.co.uk they do a free delivery.Good Luck
