Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft

was playing as your song cropped up.
I like the cover to be different (as the above one is). I really really hate it when my favourite songs get covered bady.
Baby it's Cold Outside by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Jordan is brilliant. The Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews verson is pants.
Funnily enough Legend i'm addicted to a song at the moment that is a cover of an Alanis Morrisette song. Its a dance tune by Frremasons featuring Bailey Tzuke. The song is Uninvited. I like Alanis too but that cover of Humps is awful. :-)
I think how much you like a cover depends on how much you liked the original, I still haven't recovered from Jimmy Somerville slaughtering 'hurts so good' :( but I do like Marilyn Mansons version of tainted love even though I'm not a fan of his.
& gotta say WOW hasn't Alanis come far...10 years ago she wouldn't even show her face lol
..wow am loving Alanis' version...hate the original...
..I also love Manson's Tainted Love, even though I am not a fan of his either...
...going to be brave and admit that I love Scissor Sisters' version of Comfortably Numb...I know I'm not going to be popular with Floyd fans, but I don't care...
...Nouvelle Vague have done loads of covers that i like,Making Plans for Nigel, A Forest(even though I'm a die hard Cure fan), Love Will Tear us appart , are all superb....but I hate their version of Teenage Kicks ...
...it seems very popular to be doing cover versions at the moment, am quite tempted to buy the radio One established 1967 album... has anyone got this?...any good?...or what about the Mark Ronson album ?...
