Black Berries on Fusica Plant

The small black berries that develop on my Fuscia, I'm assuming are seed pods. Can I plant these and expect a Fuscia plant to grow from this planting. If that is the case what is the germination period? If I can't plant them what should I do with them? [Email address removed as per site policy. - AB Editor]

They are seed pods and they may well be viable. The germination is a bit patchy but two or three weeks. They are rarely as good as the parent so it probably isn't worth doing unless you just want to see what comes up. Otherwise pick them off and chuck them, they are taking nutrients the plant can use better
