I want to know how to set up a formula in excel so that if a date changes in one cell it automatically changes another cell

what exactly are you trying to do?

i.e. is it whatever is in cell A1-C1 is displayed in E1??

If so, in cell E1, you would enter =sum(A1-C1).

Use one cell for data input and have the other cells refer to that call.

For instance if you use cell A1 to input a date and you want other cells (e.g. cell B1) to display the same dateyou would use the following formula in cell B!:

=A1

This means that B1 will always display what is in cell A1.
