Estimate a value for the volume of your body � assume that your average density is about 5/6 that of water.

Density of Water is 1000kg/m^3, so 5/6th is 833kg/m^3

Weigh yourself in kg and divide by 833 to get volume.

I weigh about 80kg, so my volume is about 0.096 m^3
Water has a density of ( 1gm / cm^3)

Convert your weight to grams to find equivalent volume of water in cm^3
(1kg = 1000cm^3 of water)

Lower density translates to greater volume . . . (density is inversely proportional to volume for a given mass)

divide by ( 5/6 ) or invert ( 6/5 ) and multiply

Your volume (cm^3) should be about 20% more than your weight in grams.

If your answer is less then 50,000cm^3 you need a snack,
if it's more than 100,000cm^3 you want a snack!

GREAT. From now on every time I need to write down my weight anywhere I'm gonna fill it in as .12m^3
