I craved salad!! I had 3 cucumbers, one entire lettuce and half a pound of tomatoes in one bowl and ate the lot in about an hour. I was told by the Obstetrician that when pregnant your body craves things it does not normally have ... so that kinda gave away that I have a really ***** diet hahahaha.
pickles.
Sweets, big time. But I always eat lots of sweets, so your OB's theory is blown MrsCheeks! I'm really impressed by the salad craving though.
When pregnant with my eldest daughter , I craved Heinz chicken soup and pineapples - though not together ! When I was pregnant with my second daughter I craved sweet and sour chicken and now that I am pregnant with my third child I am desperately craving Creamola Foam but sadly it has been discontinued. ( Boo hoo ! ) The fight is on to bring it back though and as it stands , Brands Partnership - the company who own the rights for it - are analysing it to find out the ingredients and have said that they may bring it back. Whoo hoo !!! Ps I'm also craving certain smells at the moment. I have found myself sniffing my jar of Nescafe (Probably because I'm not drinking coffee at the moment as too much caffeine isn't good for your foetus )and I'm taking my time walking past pubs to get a whiff of the yeasty smell from the extractor fans ! I also have a liking for the smell of petrol at the moment strangely enough and find myself drawn to petrol stations ! I think i'm going mad , help !!!
Mint Sauce on Everything. Cheese and tomato Sandwiches. Loads of Milk (which I hate usually) and tons of oranges which I am usually impartial to.
really cheap, hard ginger nuts dunked in hot, milky ovaltine.
Heinz tomato soup for the first 4 or 5 mnths..don't normally eat that. Also grapes, cherries and melon...no wonder my son loves all three!
With my first son it was tinned rice pudding with digestive biscuits broken into it! With son no.2 it was peanuts and oranges & just like you anniekon was never interested in oranges before or after. (and by the way it was my husband who had all the heartburn!)
I craved ginger biscuits and pineapples with my first son and never suffered one bit of sickness, heartburn, etc, a friend who was a chemist told me it was probably the ginger.
Prawn curry, could'nt get enough of it and tinned rice pudding with sultana's in.mmmm.
My Mam said she ate coal and would inhale the smell of Brasso and dip her finger into Vim or Ajax! No wonder Im daft.
my aunt ate coal and a rubber bath mat! what is it about coal?
well compared to all the coal mines is a bit ordinary!! it was sugar puffs for the first 5 months it was all i could keep down then i moved on to pickled onions and i was working in a chipshop at the time so i had easy access.
