Are radio transmissions as we know them going over to digital and if so when and will old style radios still work ?

Analogue radio won't become obsolete, when the digital change over happens. However it may happen that a lot of stations will no longer broadcast in digital at some point in the future.

"will no longer broadcast in ANALOGUE at some point in the future".
