Hi folks. I'm trying to make my diet a bit healthier, and I'm struggling with breakfast. I just cannot stomach it, and cannot even get through a small bowl of cereal! I've recently been given a juicing machine, and was wondering if a juice-based breakfast (fruit and veg) would be considered substantial enough?

My son makes smoothies with fruit and bio yoghurt. They are yummy and v healthy!. Not sure what the difference is between a juicer and a smoothie maker.
I would think that fruit for breakfast (in whatever form, but preferably not too processed, it's good roughage and fills you up more than a juice would) is far far better than no breakfast at all ! Make sure it's fruit and veg that you actually like or you'll end up not eating that either, but then reach for the naughty snacks mid morning, which sort of defeats the whole purpose of having breakfast....
I have made a liquid breakfast in a blender with orange juice, porage oats, banana and a peach. Obviously you can put in whatever you like. This combination tasted good.
