Drying clothes?

Anybody knows why clothes will stink if you don't dry them thoroughly under the sun? or use the machine? :p

When I lived in a flat and used the radiators my clothes didn't stink.

i think it's because they go mouldy, as the water contains bacteria. i know what u mean, but it only happens if i left it in the washing machine after it had finished washing for hours.
