My friends laptop frequently "drops off" her narrow band internet and also dies with monotonous regularity in her house - where she has Sky into the same phone line. In my house and at other friends, there are no problems whatsoever - any suggestions - someone has suggested unplugging SKy may solve this annoying problem. It is a 2 months old laptop and still under guarantee

my cousin had this when she had Sky multi room. When she turned it off the internet worked again. so It may just be because it's a laptop picking up different frequencies. Speak to the support team where they got the laptop they may be able to help.
Mine did this for a while make sure the filters ( which they got from sky ) are plugged into the phone sockets..
This site might help if you still have the problem and getting no luck from sky...
