Near the beginning of the the film 'Me, Myself and Irene', Jim Carrey says something innocent to the short, coloured cab driver, which he interprets in a completely different way, hilariously so. What was Jim Carrey's line?

I think, Jim bends down and says, "Do you people take checks?". He meant to mean Cab drivers but the driver thought he meant midgits.
