All luggage is subjected to the same X-ray scans as it would be at airports, but there are no specific security restrictions. You're free to take liquids and gels, without restrictions. (Basically, apart from the scans, it's just the same as travelling on a domestic train service).

Chris,

I know you will know the answer :), but what cars are not allowed? Those that use a ?? type of fuel?

TIA

OJR has certainly got me confused!

I can categorically state that you can't take any type of car on Eurostar. It's a passenger-only service ;-)

Chris
I think you are referring to Eurotunnel. You can't take a LPG fuelled car on Eurotunnel (or dual fuel car where one fuel is LPG).

That's the one!

Sorry Chris
