I'm looking for a piece of music which is from an opera. It starts as a very, very sad and soft strings piece before a singer starts. I have a feeling that there are some spoken words as well as sung.
I know this isn't a lot of information but it's a piece of music which is in the back of my brain and I can't get it out of my mind.
