Has anybody used cinamon to help keep blood sugar down. I have tried the powder on porridge etc. but heard that it might be toxic if taken that way and you should boil sticks and use the water.

For how long should it be boiled and how much should you take?

if you google up 'healthboards' and find 'diabetes' you'll see a lot of information regarding cinnamon and how much/what type to take.
I know cinamon is excellent for arthritis, but have not heard of it`s advantages re diabetes.
