Yes, truffles do grow in England. The black Truffle (Tuber melanosporum or Tuber aestivum) is the one that the gormet chef uses in cooking, and that certainly grows over here. Try the subsection "Edible Fungi" in this link for more info. http://fungus.org.uk/
