How do I go about joinig the UKSAR?

I am a firefighter and would like to know how I would go about joining UKSAR. Thanks in advance!

I didn�t know what UKSAR was so I put it into Google and it took me straight to their website. http://www.uk-sar.org.uk/index.php.

I believe your brigade has to have a UK search and rescue team, I know that not all do as the goverment decided that they would be strategically place like the HVP was meant to be.

If there is one in your county just put your name forward (not sure if you would have to wholetime though, if thats the case you would probably have a discrimination issue)

If there isnt one in your county i am led to beleive that youll have to find something else to occupy you.
