how do you go about creating a broadband connection on windows....i know about the " new connection wizard" but the thing is it never aks you to select the netword driver..so i guess my question is " how do you select the network driver"

i have all the neccesary username and password details for my service provider. I dont have the cd however. and i d prefer just set it up manually as i'd like to learn

Thanks in advance

Start>Control Panel>Network and Internet Connections> Set up a new Internet Connection.
It should open up the at the Connections tab and click Setup to be walked through by the Wizard.

Alternatively, like my D-Link, I just connected it clicked on IE and got connection without a driver. Give it a try.
you don't need to select the network driver.

2 options ... usb dsl modem .... run the cd .....
"propper" router
set up the router .... plug cable from router into network adapter (nic) and as long as you have
"obtain an IP address automatically"
ticked ... everything should work
