No Sound...

I cant get any sound to play on my laptop at all. It isn't muted or anything like that so what could be the problem? It still makes a noise though when battery is low! Thanks for any help.

Double-click the volume icon and check that all the sliders are at max and nothing is muted. Otherwise, go to the Control Panel then System/Hardware/Device Manager and delete your sound device. When you reboot Windows should reinstall the drivers which is the next most likely cause.
