ohhh dear it seems like someone has been naughty lol the answer is a resounding YES and YES lol unlucky.......pmsl lol
Unprotected sex with someone once has a 50% chance of passing chlamydia onto that partner. So if you do it twice then more than likely yes.

Did you mean PID???
Chlamydia seems to be the big curse in todays times
glad i aint part of it
So that's not a definate!!!!

Most likely...but not a definate. There has been cases where someone has lived with someone with aids (unbeknown) and it hasn't passed on....

Very unlikely but you could be one of the very very lucky few...or he, whatever the case !!
Although Ummm.... HIV isnt nearly as contagious as Chlamydia and thats why!

lexylou, does your partner come on here and read these threads?

[email protected] you wet yourself there?
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease and is very easy to treat with a course of antibiotics. It is nothing to be afraid of. You are lucky that it's been picked up now. If you ignore it, you will definitely have problems further down the line, so you and your boyfriend must get it sorted. Good luck!
sorry psychick couldnt help myself how can people be so stupid?glad i made you laugh lol

I hvaent got Chlamydia so I dont know why all the stupid answers. I've had loads of different tests as me and my partner are trying to conceive. He has been tested for all Infections and got the all clear for everything.
I was just wondering and thinking about everything.

yeah I did mean PID! I had a misscarraige about 8 months ago and I read this can e caused through certain procedures such as misscarraiges. Is this true?
Sorry if my answer was silly lexylou, but you must admit, the way you worded your question did make it sound like you had it!

If you have both been tested and have the all clear all round....why the question or is it just out of curiosity?

Good luck with getting pregnant!
No you can pass PID on! You could pass on the infection that caused it, if that happened to be chlamydia or another STI. I woiuld have thought PID after a miscarriage is rare, more likely if you needed a D&C, either way you would probably know you had it.
Question Author
I did have a D and C thats why Im worried. Would PID by picked up in a routine urine sample?
Oh bless you! PID is usually acute when caused by a d&C, the symptoms would be pretty strong and come on very quickly. With chlamydia the symptoms can be mild and you could have it for a couple of weeks, a couple of months a couple of years before symptoms manifested.
Pee tests dont pick it up. Laparoscopy or ultrasound, if you have signs of infection, Tenderness in the lower abdomen, changes in vaginal discharge (green, yellow, lumpy or brown), fever, feeling sick.....symptoms can often be worse often worse before a period.

Its very unlikely you have it through a d&c.
oops, just incase you didnt understand my previous answer, I meant you can not pass PID on. PID is the spreading of an infection past the cervix.
