would someone be able to look up a George Budworth on the 1891 census please, he was 1 year old and born in Birkenhead, my ancestry subscription is down and I have been doing so well with the civil reg, side, it is my grandson's mum's great grandfather. I am missing his parents who i think were either from Nottingham or Bolton.
Hope someone can help out

Hi Dot, found a George Budworth at 26 Milton Road, Wallasey, born in 1890 and registered in Seacombe. Parents are John Budworth aged 23, born Dublin, a stationery engine (illegible) and Theresa, 25, born Birkenhead. Also a daughter, aged 3, born Birkenhead.

You're welcome Dot. Glad to be able to help you out for a change! x
Youve probably worked this out yourself, but . . .

Theresa is Theresa Emily Harris

Parents:

Charles Harris, b Swallowcliffe, Oxfordshire, c1831
Mary A Harris, b Marbury, Cheshire, c1832

Sibs:
Walter M Harris, b c1858
Florence M Harris, b c1860
William R Harris, b c1862

All the children born in Birkenhead

Charles and Mary may have got married in 4th a of 1856, in which case Marys mn is Caldecott

Walter may be Walter Meadows Harris, whose birth was registered in 1857 in Wirral
Florence may be Florence Merinda Harris, whose birth was registered in 1859 in Wirral
William may be William Reddron Harris, whose birth was registered in 1861 in Birkenhead

Cheers for that hammond Egg, i had John's marriage registration last night but it was getting late and I stopped as if I carry on with these things I can be up too late, thanks for that, i now need to check out John Budworth born Dublin, his father was supposedly in the Army and so need to see which Regiments might have been in Dublin in 1848 cos it is too early for Irish Civil registration but may get some info from the Chaplins returns.

Thanks again Hammond and you too Scatty mare
