What is the best way to eat beans on toast? I'm not talking about just grating some cheese on top or putting some worereceseteshire sauce on it. Woostestershire. Whatever.

I add some curry powder, dessicated coconut and sultanas to my taste and serve with "lickle" triangle toasts round the side. Instead of toast I sometimes make poppadums quickly in the microwave - brush each side of 2 poppadums with oil and put one on top of each other, place on kitchen roll and microwave for 1 min. The poppadums dome up but they are lovely and crispy.
( But plain beans on toast if you haven't eaten any for a long time is wonderful so too is a boiled egg and soldiers. Sometimes less is more. Enjoy!)
mr.bungle what a great question this was! Have been keeping a close eye on the replies. Yes i have tuna and beans on jacket spuds too, thats one of my favourite meals! I tried something new last night actually, its a vegetable chilli made by 'Stag', wow, it had such a kick, i added a tin of tuna to this too and it was sooo good, on toast of course.. Has anyone tried this? Also whats this about putting digestives in beans?? Thats one i have never heard before! Though i might just try it!
Grate cheese in to the beans , add some worcester sauce
warm them up and serve on slightly cooled , buttered thick toast . Maybe a bit more cheese on the top and under the grill for a minute , the bean world is your oyster !!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy
Forgot to say only use the best baked beans they begin with H
this will now start a best bean taste war , interesting ???
Branston beans are good too, also M&S.

The best baked bean dish ever is Heinz London Grill - does anyone know who if anybody still stocks it ?

I love fried beans - after you fry your egg for the top, pour off most of the oil, add beans, stir around for a mon or two - fab.
