While at a friends house my husband and I witnessed a male dog humping another male dog when there was a female right there. What's that about? Is he gay or he just trying to be cool?

Please don't be offended, I have no prejudices against gay folks. I just really like the word. It's right up there with f***, eponym, and transmogrification.

According to a friend who has a male dog they will hump ANYTHING!!! Perhaps he is attracted to the more butch of the species rofl.

He could quite well be gay. My horse (male) was penetrated by another male horse - they were both geldings so I don't know where that came from. You also get gay monkeys and it's not unheard of for a gay penguin couple (2 males) to bring up young as their own - they even go through the complexity of making a nest and befriending a straight couple so they can have one of their eggs. T!
