Hello, I ordered a book from WHSmiths on thurday evening and my order is nt even saying invoiced yet, since I really need this book for an assignment, I am starting to worry that it is going to take weeks to arrive. Has anyone ordered from Smiths before? If so how long did the book take to arrive.

Thanks

Hi. I used to work in Smiths. When you ordered you should have been given a slip of paper, this is your order confirmation. On that slip it should advise you of an estimated date of arrival for your book.
At least thats how it was when I worked there.
Hi - if you ordered online it should give you an approximate delivery time.

Its not very often I am negative about online services but I have to say I have only used the system twice and on both orders the book has failed to be delivered at the time it was due. On the last order it had been delivered to the store and then lost and WHS customer services told me who had signed for the book and to go back to the store and to ask that person where they had put it!

I am sure if its not yet been processed you can stop the order or alternatively you can get a refund as soon as its been delivered. You could then consider ordering off one of the other sites e.g. Amazon.
