had a car repossesed from me recently, due to outstanding finance from a previous owner. the car has been through several owners since being bought on finance, and i bought it totally unaware of its history.
i now realise i should have done a hpi check, but ive been told i can still have a legal right to the vehicle.

does anyone know of a specialist firm or solicitor that can help me out??

surely you have registered the car in your own name? they cannot take something that no longer belongs to them!

the car was registered to me, but when the police attended (due to me being obstructive), they told me i had no legal claim to the car. a fact which i now believe to be false.

i need to take this to court to reclaim whats rightfully mine.

anyone?
