got the answer to previous post (23a)-dudgeon but still stuck with22d..I've got M?A?E..." meandering about,grind away and complain ".so.take grind off meandering and i'm left withMEANE and i've never heard of it!!...the answer i've got for 24a is trachea but can't see where it's come from? and for 17d i've got normans ..take the l off normal and add ms for marks and spencer is that right?

thanks to eddiebun for meane must get a better dictionary ..and thanks to Nilya ....by this morning I'd worked out the N and S don't know what I was on abt the MandS!! ...mind going ..and also my daughter gave me the trace (of) sign(of) meaning but very grateful for the responses to my first foray into this site!
