My mate has just split with his girlfriend. They were together nearly 2yrs and have now been broken up for 6weeks. No-one cheated or anything... they were having problems and she ended it.
He is devasted still, and I don't know what to do! He calls me at all hours, mostly drunk (he is a student), and he just goes on about how his life is over and he can't live without her! I have tried everything under the sun to make him feel better... but I am running out of ideas!
I know it's normal for him to go through this (I did.. and I am sure I was just as inconsoleable as him) but I need to make him see that thinking like this isn't healthy for him and he is making himself 10times worse!
He goes to clubs where he knows she is and kicks off when guys try it on with her! He is such a nice guy... he is just heartbroken!
Does anyone have any words of wisdom? I am losing hope and I am starting to feel like a sh!t friend because nothing I say is helping!

They brought me great luck indeed! I am having the time of my life! Never had time for AB... although I don't know why I am suddenly finding the time now! I am even busier than normal! Lol.

Well we already know from way back that there is no point in trying to reason with her so I am staying well out of it. She's obviously a basket case.
For all the spouting about tracking Wardy down, if she was going to do anything she'd have done it by now. It's been a long time since all that originally kicked off.
As always, it's been amusing though.
