Is it normal to get mild headaches when you get new glasses and are getting used to them? Should I presevere? I've already gone back to specsavers once cos the prescription was completely wrong and I couldn't see straight through them, now I have a second pair and they still seem like I am having to squint slightly and give me a slight headache.

No thats not normal. Go to another opticians and get a second opinion on your prescription
It happened to me. Get a second opinion and the prescription then take it back to specsavers. They should refund the cost of the test & give you the right specs.

I am a bit embarassed to go back AGAIN! The first pair they did me were just WRONG. These ones seem weird, like it is an effort to focus far away. The optician was really useless, and they gave me the same man twice. He went really really fast and wouldn't listen when I spoke. I am tempted to just go to another opticians...
