Hey Choomp,

I would suggest checking out their websites, if you haven't already, as they may have student comments about student life. I know our website does (Essex)

Nottingham has excellent night life, iv got mates at Nottingham Trent and they love it, thinking of going there next year myself to do my LPC. Good luck with which ever one u choose!

PS mrrobbo15 i'm also in Northampton!
Stirling has a lovely campus built around a loch. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Or did you mean something else?

i just dont waste my time on things that don't matter, such as proof reading a post, thats where wisdom and knowledge differ..hehe..Do you have any helpful advice on which uni i should study at RoaldoM?
How about one which is closer to your home town? That way you spend less time on trains and spend less money coming home. Have you visited all these choices? I think if you do, you will instantly get a "feel" for which one suits you the best. On paper they will all look the same. Mosy Uni's are running open days now, so go along and have a look round. Ask the student union about what's on offer etc. Have a look at the Halls of Residence too.

Thanks for your advice Scarlett, My aim is to go quite far from home as I don't have anything to hold me back, i've only had the opportunity to visit Coventry which quickly got crossed off my list, nice place but not for me! Unfortunately i don't have the funds to visit the other places, but your right the only way you can really tell is by visiting the place! My decision is veering toward Nottingham now :)
unfortunately i went to the wrong uni because when i visited the other students bigged it up - i later found out they hadn;t really meant it... not only was the college crap but the course was not at all what i had wanted or expected and they had just assured me in all of my questions.

they had some kind of bizarre loyalty to the college and felt obliged to 'sell' the college to futire students on the colleges behalf

when i was asked by visiting students what i thought of the place, i told the truth and that i was leaving - and when they went, the rest of my class were horrified and angry that i had not said the place was lovely!!
it was only when i explained that if people had been honest with me i wouldn't now be changing my course halfway through, that they agreed that i had done the right thing.

so, take the comments with a pinch and try to get 'real' info off the students.

Thanks for your honest advice joko :)
RoaldoM should learn the difference between adjectives, such as "right", and adverbs, such as "correctly".

(Adjectives qualify nouns, adverbs qualify verbs etc.)
