geforce fx5500 (sparkle)

I have just bought a sparkle geforce fx5500, graphics card, it is now in my machine and running fine, but when I search and look for reviews of this product, all the pictures I see of it has a fan on the heatsink, mine does not, but the heatsink looks slightly larger than the ones with fan. Can someone tell me if this needs a fan or is the heatsink good enough on its own. I have only seen it mentioned once that it does not have a fan on this card, yet the photos I see of it show different. hope you can help. Model no of card is SP8855DT. also does anyone know the best settings to run this with graw. Thanks for any help.

If it came with only a heat sink then I am sure it is OK.
