I have a very small hard lump of skin on the outside of my hand, but it won't just fall off and heal like a scab. Could it be a verruca? Not itchy or painful, but I pulled the hard skin off and it looked like a little hole left behind, possibly the root. What do you recommend? Verruca treatments seem very expensive. Thanks everyone in advance.
I had a wart a few years ago. I waited until i got drunk one night, then when i got in, i put some terps on it and lit it with a lighter. It really hurt at the time, but a day or so after, it just went...
A medical acquaintance of mine recommended putting Duct tape over warts and leaving them covered for three weeks. I thought he was winding me up but it worked, either because the air was totally excluded or possibly because of some chemical in the adhesive. If silver duct tape looks unsightly you can always cover it with an ordinary elastoplast plaster. However, if you've got a little hole left perhaps you've already cured the problem by removing the root and it won't return.
Isn't Verruca the name of that spoiled little girl in the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? hahaha sorry but I couldn't resist, reading this I can only think of her!!!
