Does anyone know how they will calculate the omissions to find who will pay the �300-�400 car tax...When does it start?

The Co2 emissions are shown on the vehicle's Registration Document. The �300 rate applies immediately to vehicles registered on or after 23 March 2006, with emissions of over 225g/km. This will rise to �400 next March.

If you have a recent car - 4 years old - this information is on the log book. I dont pay full tax - mines a diesel - so they already know what is what.
