vauxhall recomend 100,000 miles or 10 years
it should also tell you in your handbook.
There is no way I would let my cambelt stay in for 100k - in my current handbook ( Oct '00 - Sept '03 ) it says for a diesel to change the belt at 60k or six years.
got the information from autodata! it does say to check with manufacturers for any changes.
I use a Haynes manual.
it is 100,000miles or 10 years i fix cars for aliving but i would not let it go to 100,000 miles because the belt also runs engine and there are also tensioner and an ideler which can go bang
