Because of the high cost of bread at our usual supermarket I've bought a Panasonic breadmaker, recommended by Which?. Excellent value for money and it works perfectly every time. But I have trouble slicing the new loaf.
Does anyone have any tips on this, and are there any bread slicers I can buy.
Thanks.

Use a good serrated knife, it does a great job slicing anything,
and have never failed me.
"High cost of bread".

Are you joking?
You can't cut bread with anything else that a good SHARP knife. If you leave your loaf a little longer it will cut OK and taste just as good. Besides, new bread gives you indigestion.

OK and thanks to everybody.
I have both carving and electric knife, but I just thought there might be something better on the market.
