Does anyone know what happened to the Conservative MP and education spokesman Sir Rhodes Boyson (the one with massive sideburns)? He used to appear on TV-am (later GMTV) a lot and the last I saw of him was being interviewed by Ali G on the 11 O'Clock Show. Is he still an MP? Is he still alive?

Boyson lost his seat (Brent North) in the 1997 General Election. He was extant,as they say, on 14 August 2001 as a signatory to a letter published in the Daily Telegraph in support of Iaan Duncan Smith (anyone know what happened to *him*?!). Boyson remains a Council Member of The Freedom Assocation.
