bluetooth remote?

i have bought a bluetooth usb dongle from argos, that works perfectly!

but i was just wondering could i use my phone as a remote (if you don't mind lol) for playing music on my laptop??

as in play song from my phone on windows media player or something (i have read about other people doing it)
