the garden fence partitioning both my neighbours garden on mine on the right hand side to me and on the left of my neighbours garden was blown down by the high winds of late. Who is responsible for the repairs?

you would need to look at your deeds, but normally its the left side as you look out of the back door or if the fence posts are on your side
I've had a similar problem, we moved into a property where there was no fencing at all!

I checked my deeds/covenants and they stated the right side was my responsibility. (50/50 for the back fence)

I would check your house documents.

You could be cheeky and ask for half the cash anyway.
Neighbourly relations and all!
Deinitely check your deeds. In our first house we were responsible for the fence on the left, in our second house we were responsible for the fence on the right and in this, our third house all fences/boundaries are jointly owned!
