Hi does anyone know how to register for bar work during Cowes week on the Isle of Wight. Is there one company handling temporary work for that week or is it a case of just ringing round each pub to see what vacancies they may have? Any ideas please.

Hi Kooky4, I would suggest that if you live inthe I.O.W. go and show your face and make personel applications I am sure you will get fixed up. Good Luck anyway.

I live in Pompey, and thought I'd have a week off work, and do a bit of bar work for some extra spending money for a holiday later in the year.

Best thing you can do Kooky is try to get a yellow pages that covers I.O.W and look up all the pubs in the Cowes area and either send a letter to each or give them a ring and give them your details. Best place to get a yellow pages for here would be in your local library.
