Water related problem?

I only drink water, I have done for a few years now. Now and then when I go out I drink alcohol or juice but it's mainly water. I used to go to the bathroom about say 4, 5 times a day but now I find myself going twice in the space of half an hour! Sometimes it's not as bad but most of the time that's what it is. Could it be that I drink too much water? I think on average I consume about 2 litres a day, sometimes 3. I've been to the doctor, she tested my urine for any infection or diabetes and I'm fine so she concluded it's just me drinking too much. I'm not convinced though for some reason. Any suggestions what else it could be? Many thanks.

Not 100% sure but when I up my water intake I am always in the bathroom!
hi
i think the intake of water should be one and a half ltrs if you are taking three ltrs i think it is far to much .hence your problem. think less in less out
At work I drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning, then from around midday I drink about a litre of water (sometimes more). As soon as I hit the water I'm in the bathroom constantly. From 12-5pm I visit the loo around 4 or 5 times. I also drink water in the evenings and depending on how much water I drink depends on how frequently I use the loo.

If you are drinking 3 litres (I only manage 1.5 - 2 litres per day!) then you will urinate more than the average person.
I drink when I am thirsty, simple. I personally dont understand the recommmended 1.5 litres per day, listen to what your body tells you IMHO.
