Following on from the earlier post about Aspergers/Autism, I thought i'd show you this, if you don't mind. It was taken in EuroDisney four years ago, for her eighteenth birthday. I was against the trip, but as you can see, with the help of the staff, she had the time of her life. She is still in pads outside, neither speaks, and only understands about a dozen on syllable words, but she has a full range of vocal chords, mentally, she's grown about a month for every year she's lived, so you could say she's a twentytwo year old Autistic toddler, but she's happy, and thats the main thing. To us, she's the most important thing in this world, as, I would add, are most children to their parents.

Carakeel, I know I've said it before. Losing your son must have been absolutely devasting for you. No parent expects their child to go before them do they? I honestly admire your bravery. Daisy x
