Now I know this is gonna sound daft, but as I am new to DVD Recorders please bear with me.
When recording onto a DVD+RW can I press stop after the first programme, change channels and press record continuing from where I left off. Just like you can do with a video.

Thanks in advance

Yes - well I can on mine! As the disk is RW, how about running a test?

Programme it to record some programmes you're not interested in, on different channels. See what happens!

Three or four short programmes will be ideal as a test.

Then you can wipe it clean and record in confidence.
hi cowboy,
yes you can do that, if you are recording anologue channels ( terrestrial channels.)
you can set several timers on different channels. as you would on a video recorder
good luck.

Thank you Guys.
After taking your advice I now find I can use the little devil just like a VCR. I can record all terrestrial channels + Sky. I can even record tapes from the VCR. I have quite a few video's from my Fire Service days. Now I can get them all on disc and save valuable space in my PC room.

Thanks once again.
Cowboy.
Hurrah!

I copied all my home videos to dvd - what a difference to space saving.

Having had a hard drive dvd recorder for over 2 years, I could not imagine ever going back to vhs.
