You should only buy cod liver oil that contains Omega-3. They used to sell a brand called halibut liver oil which was supposed to contain more vitamens but notice they don't seem to sell it now?
I've been taking Omega 3 fish oils 1,000mg twice daily for over 2 years allgram. Any fish oil is good for you but Omega 3 is richer in EPA and DHA. I buy mine online from Healthspan Uk. They're a lot cheaper that health shops and better quality than you'd get from supermarket's. You can Google Healthspan.
I've got fish oil capsules, but an hour or so after I take one I suddenly get the taste of Grimsby in a heatwave. Not nice!
