1970's cinema experience

does anyone remember a series of films in the 1970's featuring a blond bloke and a "big man" with a beard. A beach buggy featured in one of their films which the blond guy may or may not have lost in a foolish bet, and the big man may of got drunk in a comic way. Does anyone remember this or have i gone insane with boredom and invented the whole thing in my loopey head? jim

Wasnt that the Trinity Brothers series? It had Bud Spencer (big guy with a beard)& Terrence Elliot (blonde guy with piercing blue eyes)I think. It was an Italian production in the Spagetti Western genre

Bud Spencer (big bloke) and Terence Hill (blond bloke). They were both Italian actors; I think Hill was in The Leopard, but used his real name. The film with the beach buggies was Watch Out, We're Mad! They did also do the Trinity westerns as Felixthedog mentioned.
