Song title and artist

hey guys. I watching an episode of judging amy today and at the end of the episode there was a song playing, the only lyrics i got was "and say goodbye for good". Its a male singer, kinda slowish song with piano in it i think. Anyone any ideas??

The lyric is similar to that of the song "EZ" by Pete Yorn, although the clip of the song features guitar rather than piano...
