Hi there

Very roughly, if someone is not married and earns 22k a year total, how much very roughly is that a month AFTER Tax and NI is taken off?

Strange question I know!

Thanks in advance

Unless a person was born before 6th April 1935, being married plays no part in their Income Tax.

Assuming this person has a standard Personal Tax Allowance of 5035 and has no deductions from their pay (such as for a pension) then the net monthly income will be 1,388.38
