Can anyone help! I have the Sony T30 and have discoverd that when I take pictures at night the pictures come out with dots on them. My brother seems to have them same problem with his Sony camera too. Has anyone got this problem as well or can someone suggest anything. I have contacted Sony & all they can suggest is to return the camera so they can repair it which I don't want to do! Please help!

You mean they come out grainy? If so, try reducing your ISO.

No thats not it. The pictures come with specks of round spots on them
Lots of them, or just a few?

Sounds a bit dust-like, but that'd be quite unusual for a non-slr camera.

There are a few but very noticable, it really spoils the pictures. Sony have said its the camera picking up the dust but I find that very stange!
It could be dust on the sensor -- try cleaning the lens, and then taking a few pictures over a few days. Are the specs always in the same place? If so, maybe dust...
