Problems playing music CD on my PC

Can anyone help with this problem I am having, I can play every CD I have on my PC and copy it to my music files but I recently bought the Usher CD I tried playing it but my computer does not even say that I have a CD in my drive?. Anyone know how to sort this out?, cheers

Try installing freerip and starting the program before installing the disc in the PC.
i guess the cd is protected.sony do this on a lot of their cd's apparently(not sure whether usher is on sony). the idea being that you cant rip the cd to your hdd and make copies
Like I said, type in freerip, and click the link. You can then install a small program that will bypass your soundcard and allow you to copy protected discs.
