Trying to help my fella...

Not sure if iv posted this q in the correct section, but anyway....my fella wants to fulfill his life long passion of becoming a criminal investigator, hes currently working full time so i said id find what relevant qualifications he needs etc!...what qualifications does he need i.e what degree course does he need to do, and a-levels? having troubles finding info on the net, so any help would be great. ps we live in lancashire so does anyone know of any universities/colleges that have the specific courses...please dont think im being lazy I really have tried searching the net but im constantly bombarded wit american colleges, courses etc. thanx very much xx
